Met Office: Average Rainfall (3rd Party Data)
This is a spatial datasets for annual average rainfall obtained from the Met Office. Natural Resources Wales (NRW) have obtained this dataset via a bespoke licence from the Met Office. The Met Office is the UK National Meteorological Service set up to research the possibilities of forecasting the weather, and now uses more than 10 million weather observation from across the UK to create advanced atmospheric models to predict upcoming forecasts and longer term climate change scenarios.
