This data collation includes two spatial layers: Invasive Non Native Species and Invasive Non Native Species regions, which covers mainly Wales, but also other wider regions from the UK. The record is deemed accurate when made, however accuracy cannot be guaranteed by the data collator. Where possible data has been verified and validated by the Local Environmental Records Centres. Presence or absence of a record does not imply continued presence or absence of species.
NRW extract data from the LERCs open feed to update copies held within NRWs GIS. Updates occur monthly, towards the end of the month.
