Local Environmental Records Centres (LERCS) Wales: All Species Data (3rd Party Data)
The data are collated from species datasets held by the Welsh Local Environmental Records Centres.
All species are included in this dataset. If you want just priority and protected species please refer to metadata entry EXT_DS111486 or Invasive non-native species please refer to metadata entry EXT_DS122097.
The purpose of this data capture was to inform conservation management and decisions. Data being received from LERC's does vary between centre. North Wales Environmental Information Centre (COFNOD) data only contains data that has been verified by trusted sources and specialists in the field. South East Wales Biodiversity Records Centre (SEWBReC), West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre (WWBIC) and Biodiversity Information Service for Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park (BIS) data contains all protected and priority records including records that have been unverified.
