UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UKCEH): Wales wide marine non-native species distribution data from iRecord (3rd Party Data)
This data contains marine non-native species distribution in Wales. The data was downloaded from iRecord ( https://irecord.org.uk/ which is administered by CEH) using a pre set up query. The list of 102 non-native species of interest was provided to CEH in advance. The boundary is set to include species up to 12nm and includes a small inland buffer. The downloaded data contains data input to iRecord at all verification levels, including species which have not yet been verified.

The downloaded data comes with licence conditions - the data can be used internally within NRW and shared with NRW contractors, but it cannot be published. The ID and source information should be kept with the records at all times. NRW holds two versions of this data – the original download from iRecord with all fields and a second version which has certain columns redacted (e.g. surveyor and verifier) in order to allow this data to be shared with contractors and to make it more streamlined.
