Lakes (1:50,000)
This GIS dataset contains spatial features represented as points, lines, and polygons. It comprises lakes and large ponds in Wales digitised at a scale of 1:50,000. The primary objective of this project was to amalgamate Quattro spreadsheet data extracted from the Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 mapping with the Ordnance Survey Lakes GIS layer, which was available as a standard GIS dataset, to produce a comprehensive Welsh Lakes GIS layer for use within NRW.
