Saltmarsh Features at Cefni and Aberffraw 1998
This dataset contains the results of a survey which used the National Vegetation Classification (NVC) as a basis for community definition in the saltmarsh habitats of Anglesey (Cefni and Aberffraw). The purpose of this data capture is to use the National Vegetation Classification to describe and map areas of saltmarsh on the southern shore of Anglesey that were put forward as a potential Special Area of Conservation (pSAC) as part of the Glannau Mon: Cors Heli/ Anglesey Coast saltmarsh.

Standard NVC survey methodology was used. Data collected by trained personnel, digitised by contractors, validated by CCW KMG, corrections made by contractors, validated again by CCW KMG, corrections made in-house in conjunction with relevant salt marsh specialist. CCW commissioned survey which contributes to an NVC Phase 2 Saltmarsh survey collation (see 'part of' field).
