Surveys were carried out by Royal Haskoning under contract to CCW to support marine habitat monitoring and assessment. The programme aimed to improve survey design and implementation, harmonise SAC monitoring with Water Framework Directive monitoring where appropriate, and develop quality assurance and quality control procedures for drop-down video survey techniques. The survey contributed to the characterisation and monitoring of seabed habitats within the SAC.
