This instigated the collection of data to identify areas of this type of habitat in mid-Wales. This dataset consists of botanical surveys conducted as a preliminary study associated with calaminarian grasslands in mid-Wales. The aim of this data collection was to gather information in order to identify lichen-rich forms of calaminaria grassland in mid-Wales with a view to obtaining information on extent of these areas in the future.
