Phase 2 Woodland Survey of Carmarthenshire and Llanelli Woodlands (1994 - 2005)

This is a dataset containing detailed Phase 2 survey data from over 4607 observations in woodlands of conservation interest in across Carmarthenshire and Llanelli woodlands. One of the major strategic initiatives of Countryside Council for Wales. The purpose of this work was to improve the overall knowledge of Welsh woodland communities, to provide consistent community descriptions across the woodland SSSI series as fundamental site-support information and to assess SSSI status of new sites.
