Phase 2 Woodland Survey of Dinefwr Woodlands 1994

Dataset containing detailed Phase 2 survey data from over 1145 observations in woodlands of conservation interest in and around Carmarthen and Dinefwr woodlands. One of the major strategic initiatives of Countryside Council for Wales. The standard woodland NVC survey methodology was used. The purpose of this work was to improve the overall knowledge of Welsh woodland communities, and to provide consistent community descriptions across the woodland SSSI series as fundamental site-support information and to assess SSSI status of new sites.
