Haen data polygon sy'n dangos helaethrwydd morfeydd heli mewn dyfroedd arfordirol a throsiannol ar gyfer defnydd Rheoli Perygl Llifogydd ac Erydu Arfordirol a gweithredu'r Gyfarwyddeb Fframwaith Dŵr. Ar ochr y trawslun atfôr, bydd y ffin derfynol lle y mae'r gorchudd planhigion morfa heli mor brin mae ond yn gorchuddio 5%, boed yn forfa heli uchaf, canolig, isaf neu gyntaf.
Mae maint morfa heli wedi cael ei ddehongli o ddelweddu digidol 10cm wrth 10cm o'r awyr. Ffin y forfa heli tua'r tir yw'r pwynt lle y mae'r parthau uchaf yn gorffen a phlanhigion daearol yn cychwyn (wrth droed morglawdd yn aml. Y marc yw lle y mae planhigion morfa heli'n fwy na 5% o'r gymuned sy'n ddaearol yn bennaf.

Saltmarsh extent has been interpreted from 10 cm by 10 cm digital aerial imagery. The demarcation of the landward extent is the point at which the upper most zones gives way to terrestrial plants (often at the foot of a seawall). The mark is where saltmarsh plants become more than 5% of the predominantly terrestrial community.
