Water Framework Directive (WFD) Rocky Shore Macroalgal Species

This dataset contains information on the presence of macroalgal species recorded on rocky shores as part of Water Framework Directive (WFD) ecological assessments of transitional and coastal waters in Wales.

Monitoring follows the Reduced Species List methodology outlined in the UK Technical Advisory Group (UKTAG) method statement. The data were collected from intertidal rocky shore habitats.

The extracted dataset is a subset of the full dataset and includes only data collected and owned by Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
