Gwaith Gwastraff a Ganiateir yng Nghymru

Mae Cyfarwyddeb Fframwaith Gwastraff yr Uned Ewropeaidd (2008/98/EC) yn darparu'r fframwaith deddfwriaethol ar gyfer casglu, cludo, adfer a gwaredu gwastraff. Mae'r gyfarwyddeb yn mynnu bod yr holl aelod-wladwriaethau'n cymryd y camau angenrheidiol i sicrhau bod gwastraff yn cael ei adfer neu ei waredu heb beryglu iechyd dynol na pheri niwed i'r amgylchedd ac mae'n cynnwys trwyddedu, cofrestru a gofynion arolygu. Mae Erthygl 28 o'r Gyfarwyddeb Fframwaith Gwastraff yn galw'n benodol ar aelod-wladwriaethau i sicrhau bod unrhyw ddata cysylltiedig â chyfleusterau gwastraff ar gael yn gyhoeddus. Mae Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru yn rhoi trwyddedau gwastraff ledled Cymru i unrhyw un sy'n ymwneud â gwastraff o unrhyw fath. Mae'r set ddata hon yn cynnwys manylion o'r cyfleusterau gwastraff sydd wedi'u lleoli ledled Cymru a gasglwyd o'r trwyddedau a ddychwelwyd. Mae'r safleoedd gwastraff hyn wedi'u dosbarthu'n grwpiau gyda phob is-fath o safle gwastraff yn cael ei gysylltu â'r categori trosfwaol.
