This dataset is a GIS layer identifying the canal waterbodies managed under the Water Framework Directive and any related programmes. This includes canals which are reported to Europe as artificial rivers. These waterbodies are represented by their centreline, and can be linked to other WFD data using the unique water body ID (WB_ID).


'WFD River, canal and SWT Waterbodies Cycle 2' is a subset extracted from the Natural Resources Wales Detailed River Network, with attributes removed and merged on the WB_ID. Updated to 2018 version.

Mae hyn yn cynnwys camlesi sy'n cael eu hysbysu i Ewrop fel afonydd artiffisial. Mae'r cyrff dŵr hyn yn cael eu cynrychioli gan eu llinell ganol, a gellir eu cysylltu at ddata'r Gyfarwyddeb Fframwaith Dŵr gan ddefnyddio rhif adnabod unigryw y corff dŵr (WB_ID). Mae 'Cylch 2 Cyrff Dŵr Afonydd, Camlesi a Throsglwyddiadau Dŵr Wyneb y Gyfarwyddeb Fframwaith Dŵr' yn is-set a dynnwyd o Rwydwaith Afonydd Manwl Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru, gyda nodweddion wedi'u tynnu a'u cyfuno ar y WB_ID.
