A set of open access constraints data was used to erase areas which contained existing woodland, watercourses, peat, roads, rail and urban locations. The information provided is largely based on a 100m gridded version of the BGS 1:50k superficial and bedrock data, along with open constraints data, and is indicative rather than specific. Locations identified may have more recent building or land use than available data indicates. It is important to note that land ownership and change to flood risk have not been considered, and it may be necessary to model the impacts of significant planting. As indicated above, this dataset is based on the British Geological Survey (BGS): 50k Onshore Geology Data. This BGS data has squares missing where BGS have not surveyed the area. Where the BGS data did not exist at certain locations, we were unable to create the modelled WwNP data. Any missing squares are an expected lack of data, rather than an error.
