Hydroelectric Power (HEP) - Sensitive Bryophytes, Lichens and Ferns
Sites considered to be sensitive to Hydroelectric Power (HEP) abstraction by Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) because of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) bryophyte features, the presence of desiccation-sensitive bryophytes, the presence of rare or scarce riverine lichens, or the presence of Killarney Fern gametophyte. This layer was designed to aid consultation between Environment Agency Wales (EAW) and CCW. As of April 1st 2013 data is held and managed by Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
