An accompanying User Guide is available to support the use of these datasets, and a full list of source datasets and data limitations can be found in the project technical report. This dataset identifies areas where management interventions could reduce the risk of faecal coliforms entering coastal and transitional waters, as well as rivers and lakes. The management options considered include fencing and/or hedgerow planting to prevent direct livestock access to watercourses, and woodland planting to create riparian woodland or drainage channel shelter belts. Opportunities located within catchments upstream of water bodies with known faecal coliform issues are identified as priority areas for intervention.
