Deddf yr Amgylchedd (Cymru) Adran 7 - Cynefinoedd â Blaenoriaeth
O dan Ddeddf yr Amgylchedd (Cymru) (2016), mae Adran 7 yn ei gwneud hi'n ofynnol i lunio rhestrau bioamrywiaeth. Mae'r rhestrau hyn yn cynnwys mathau o gynefinoedd sy’n "bwysig iawn" at ddibenion cynnal a gwella bioamrywiaeth mewn perthynas â Chymru. Mae'r rhestr hon yn disodli'r ddyletswydd yn Adran 42 Deddf yr Amgylchedd Naturiol a Chymunedau Gwledig 2006. Mae'r set ddata hon yn nodi maint a lleoliad y cynefinoedd daearol hynny a nodir fel rhai "pwysig iawn" yng Nghymru.
Crëwyd y set ddata hon gan ddefnyddio Cynllun Gweithredu Lleol ar Fioamrywiaeth Cynefinoedd â Blaenoriaeth yng Nghymru a Chynefinoedd Eang, sy'n deillio o arolygon cynefinoedd a rhywogaethau daearol Cam 1 a gynhaliwyd ledled Cymru. Yn 2019, roedd y rhestr dros dro o gynefinoedd pwysig iawn union yr un peth â'r rhestr flaenorol o dan Adran 42 Deddf yr Amgylchedd Naturiol a Chymunedau Gwledig.

This dataset was created using the terrestrial Priority Habitats of Wales Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) and Broad Habitats both of which are derived from Phase 1 Terrestrial habitat and species surveys conducted across Wales. In 2019 the interim list of habitats of principal importance was exactly the same as the previous list under Section 42 of the NERC Act; Priority Habitats of Wales Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) and was under review in consultation with Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
The current representation of Priority Habitats in this Environment (Wales) Act Section 7 Terrestrial Habitats of Principal Importance catalogue entry on DataMapWales is incomplete. This is because of an ongoing review of the data. We anticipate releasing the complete updated version of the data towards the end of 2026.
