This dataset is made up of the species abundance values from the freshwater lake macro-invertebrates surveys conducted across Wales by Natural Resources Wales and former Environment Agency Wales. These surveys are conducted as part of on-going monitoring of lake water quality for legislative requirements and to meet business drivers. Only a redacted version of this data is available under the Open Government Licence and available for public use, see Limitations on Public Access and Use Constraints.
