Sands of LIFE (SoLIFE) meteorological data 2017 to 2023 (Morfa Harlech, Merthyr Mawr, Whiteford)
This dataset contains meteorological data collected at Morfa Harlech, Merthyr Mawr and Whiteford between February 2017 and February 2023. The data comprise measurements of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, rainfall and atmospheric pressure recorded at 15-minute intervals.

Meteorological data were collected using Davis Vantage Pro II weather stations installed at Morfa Harlech, Whiteford and Merthyr Mawr. The monitoring equipment comprised a Davis Vantage Pro II console, Skylink-Pro remote display units, GPRS modem data loggers, and associated software. Field sensors recorded wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, solar radiation and ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
Data availability varies by site due to periods of equipment maintenance, malfunction or interruption.
Morfa Harlech: 21/02/2017 to 03/11/2017; 15/11/2017 to 01/12/2017; 18/12/2017 to 04/10/2018; 15/11/2018 to 17/01/2019; and 13/02/2019 to 20/02/2023.
Whiteford: 22/02/2017 to 12/03/2018; 14/03/2018 to 23/09/2018; 09/10/2018 to 21/10/2018; 19/11/2018 to 20/04/2020; 22/04/2020 to 12/02/2022; and 14/02/2022 to 19/02/2023.
