Cofrestr Cymunedau mewn Perygl 2019 (CaRR)
Cafodd Cofrestr Cymunedau mewn Perygl ei datblygu i ddarparu dull gwrthrychol o nodi perygl a blaenoriaethu gweithgareddau rheoli perygl llifogydd ar lefel gymunedol Cymru gyfan. Mae’n defnyddio methodoleg safonol ar draws yr holl ffynonellau llifogydd i gyfrifo ‘sgôr perygl’ ddamcaniaethol sy’n caniatáu mesur a rhestru peryglon cymharol yn ôl safle (o Uchel i Isel).
Mae’r Gofrestr Cymunedau mewn Perygl (CaRR) 2019 bellach wedi’I ddisodli gan y Gofrestr Cymunedau mewn Perygl (CaRR) 2024 – Cyfredol a gellir mynd ato yma: https://mapdata.llyw.cymru/layers/geonode:nrw_car2024_present_day
Mae’r CaRR yn cynnwys taenlen sy’n nodi ac yn rhestru safle cymunedau unigol gyda golwg ar:
1. senario ‘ddiamddiffyn’ naturiol, a
2. senario liniarol (seiliedig ar bresenoldeb amddiffynfeydd a rhybudd llifogydd).
Mae’n cael ei ategu gan haen GIS sy’n diffinio’r polygonau cymunedol unigol a’i briodoli gan sgorau perygl, rhestrau safle cymunedol a gwybodaeth fetrig arall.

The CaRR has been created using national-scale model data developed as part of the Flood Risk Assessment Wales (FRAW) project. The CaRR ranks communities based on a theoretical danger score which should be considered alongside other factors (such as history of flooding) when prioritising activities. The methodology incorporates the ‘Depth in Property’ approach to counting the number of properties at flood risk from different sources.
