Canlyniadau Prosiect Gwerthuso Sylfaen Safleoedd Gwarchodedig Daearol a Dŵr Croyw
The Freshwater and Terrestrial Protected Sites Baseline evaluation project (henceforth known as the ‘Baseline evaluation project’) uses existing evidence to derive, where possible, ‘indicative’ feature condition assessments across the range of freshwater and terrestrial features on protected sites (SAC, SPA, SSSI) in Wales.

1. A trial exercise that will focus solely on one operational area to gather indicative condition assessments regarding the state of 26 features.
2. Establishing a what we learned log after the trial period has finished to determine what we can bring forward to the main exercise.
3. A main exercise where each operational area (including Freshwater and Earth Science) are asked to provide indicative condition assessments on the state of their features across that particular operational area. Monthly updates on progress will be issued.
4. Collating all of the data received together after the main exercise has been completed.
5. The Outputs of this exercise were published internally and externally.
