Distribution data for spider Mioxena blanda at Newborough Warren – Ynys Llanddwyn (SSSI) 2019-2020
A survey to improve our understanding of the ecology and distribution of the Nationally Rare money spider Mioxena blanda was conducted at Newborough Warren – Ynys Llanddwyn SSSI. The survey ran between 28th September 2019 and 7th March 2020, employing a variety of survey techniques: terrestrial and aerial pitfall traps, vacuum sampling, grubbing, sieving, rock turning and hand sampling.
