Surveillance of the montane macrolichen Thamnolia vermicularis in Eryri, 2022
Resurveys of all four Welsh sites where the snowbed lichen Thamnolia vermicularis has been recorded found no extant colonies. Climate Change, Nitrogen pollution and heavy sheep grazing are implicated in its extinction in Wales.
