This dataset shows NRW Nutrient Review 2023 surface water and groundwater monitoring sites excluded and includes from the nitrate and phosphate water quality assessment following data processing and application of data rules. For the included data The current (2019) and predicted (2031) at each location is provided along with the method used to assess the concentrations.

Scoped out - Starting with the complete set of NRW groundwater monitoring sites, those which did not satisfy all of the following criteria and were not progressed for statistical assessment were saved int this layer. These criteria were: - Site has representative coordinates and is in Wales; - Site has sufficient data so that a value of phosphate and Nitrate is available on at least 6 separate days for data between 1980-2019 (excluding 2014-2016). Scoped In - Starting with the complete set of NRW surface water monitoring sites, only those which satisfied the following criteria were progressed for statistical assessment. These criteria were: - Site has representative coordinates and is in Wales; - Site has sufficient data so that a value of TIN can be determined on at least 10 separate days across at least 6 different years for data between 1990-2019 (excluding 2014-2016).
