Mae Llonyddwch a Lle, adnodd daearol sy’n genedlaethol gyson, yn nodi’r adnodd strategol a lleol mewn ardaloedd anghysbell, gwledig, ardaloedd trefol a’r ardaloedd o amgylch trefi i’w ddefnyddio fel sail tystiolaeth i lywio bwriad polisi, arfer a darpariaeth ar gyfer buddion llesiant. Ceir 6 thema.
Mae Llonyddwch a Lle: Amgylchedd Sain Rhan II yn cyflwyno Thema 4, lle gellir disgwyl i synau naturiol fod yn fwy amlwg na sŵn ac yn addas i’r cyd-destun, gan adeiladu ar Ran I i ymgorffori gwaith Mapio Sŵn Strategol Llywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer Cymru 2022: Ffyrdd a Rheilffyrdd.

The rural analysis (50m resolution) covers the entirety of Wales, including those areas covered by the urban analysis, to allow for consistent comparisons between different geographies. The urban analysis (10m resolution) is in addition to this, but only covers the urban areas defined using the extent of the study areas mapped in the Urban Tree Cover data. Scores use a scale of 0 – 10, sounds that contribute to tranquillity getting a higher score, decreasing with distance from the source. Sounds that detract from tranquillity were given a lower score, increasing with distance from the source.
