This data is counts of seals hauled out during aerial surveys of the coast of Wales in August 2023.
Data consists of date and time, site number, photographic frame start and end, grid reference, number of seals and geographic region.

Data was collected by the Sea Mammal Research Unit, University of St Andrews (SMRU) during their oblique aerial photographic surveys of the coast of Wales in August 2023.
Survey followed standard techniques as outlined in Thompson et al. (2019).
