A survey of the fen invertebrates of Corsydd Llangloffan SSSI, Pembrokeshire (2025)
Data were collected during invertebrate surveys undertaken at Corsydd Llangloffan SSSI, Pembrokeshire in 2025 by James McGill. Sampling was designed to assess the condition of the notified fen invertebrate assemblage and covered a range of fen habitat types across the site.
Survey methods included the use of flight interception traps and pitfall traps, together with specimen identification and analysis of species assemblages. Records were compiled and assessed against known assemblage component species and analysed using recognised invertebrate assessment methods, including Pantheon analysis, to evaluate assemblage condition, habitat associations and conservation value.
The resulting dataset supports site condition assessment, habitat management and future monitoring of the fen invertebrate assemblage.

Data were collected during targeted invertebrate surveys undertaken at Corsydd Llangloffan SSSI in 2025 by James McGill on behalf of Natural Resources Wales.
Survey work sampled a range of fen habitats across the site using standard entomological techniques including flight interception traps and pitfall traps. Specimens were identified to assess the composition of the fen invertebrate assemblage, determine the presence of species of conservation importance and evaluate habitat associations.
Survey results were analysed using recognised invertebrate assessment approaches, including Pantheon analysis, and compiled to support evidence gathering, site management and future monitoring of the site's wetland invertebrate resource.
