Welsh Sand Dune Data
Sand Dune National Vegetation Classification (NVC) spreadsheets containing area and DOMIN values for each NVC community. The purpose of this data capture was to characterise the sand dune vegetation of Wales.

The field surveys utilised standard Phase 2 survey methodology. Vegetation mapping and community definition followed the National Vegetation Classification (NVC). The area information and DOMIN values were then entered into Excel spreadsheets. This dataset forms part of the Phase 2 Sand Dune Vegetation survey of Wales (see separate metadata in 'Part of' field below) which in turn is part of the Sand Dune Vegetation Survey of Great Britain.
