NRW is legally obliged to give public access to the data and information which it holds unless specific legal exceptions apply, for example, if the data is personal or if release of the data would result in environmental harm. Read access to the database is granted on request by the data manager whilst write access is divided into 4 separate roles dictated by financial audit requirements.
