True colour video, infra-red video and hyperspectral data were recorded during the entire survey and recording was synchronised to GPS time for all video data. All data acquired during the survey were recorded on analogue video tapes, these required digitising before processing. Data capture operations produced 1) raw colour and infra-red image frames, 2) raw hyperspectral reflectance data, 3) Georeferenced database record of flight line. Processing of this imagery included geometric, radiometric and bi-directional reflectance corrections in order to produce a thematic map of biotope/ sediment/ vegetation distribution.
