Temporal variation and monitoring of important lagoonal communities and species in Wales
This dataset contains the results of a synthesis, collation and review of knowledge pertaining to coastal saline lagoon sites in Wales and the important species recorded at these lagoons, undertaken by the Natural History Museum on behalf of Countryside Council for Wales (CCW). The scope was to understand: - The habitat resource requirements of the species, - The scales of natural variation in the species and in their habitat resource requirements, - The scales of natural variation in the habitats themselves, and - To review monitoring and surveillance work in similar habitats and species. This work will allow the development of Standard Operating Procedures for condition monitoring the lagoons.
