Other Protected Animals Licence Return Data
Natural Resources Wales (NRW) collation of licence return data for work carried out in Wales affecting protected animal species. This collation includes invertebrates such as, but not limited to, marsh fritillary, crayfish and fairy shrimp. The collation was created to add to the picture of protected animals distributions in Wales, to collect relevant data in one place and to mobilise records which may not otherwise be available. The dataset does not represent a systematic coverage/survey of Wales. Location of records is generally random, depending on the requirements of the licence holders.
