Rhywogaethau Morol Estron Cymru Gyfan
Mae'r set ddata hon yn cynnwys data ar rywogaethau estron morol yng Nghymru. Ei diben yw cael dealltwriaeth gyfredol o ddosbarthiad rhywogaethau estron morol er mwyn deall eu lledaeniad a llywio cyngor ar waith achos. Daw'r data a ddefnyddiwyd i adeiladu'r haen GIS hon o leoliadau perthnasol sy'n bodoli eisoes lle cedwir data ac mae wedi'i gyfuno i un lleoliad ar ffurf ESRI. Mae’n cynnwys data o’r 1930au hyd at 2023.
Cafodd setiau data amrywiol yn cynnwys rhywogaethau estron morol eu hintegreiddio i adeiladu'r haen GIS hon. Roedd y rhain yn cynnwys setiau data mewnol CNC gan gynnwys Marine Recorder, KiECO a chofnodion ad-hoc o rywogaethau estron sydd gan CNC. Daeth y setiau data allanol a ddefnyddiwyd o Atlas yr NBN. Ni chynhaliwyd unrhyw arolygon newydd i'w cynnwys yn y set ddata hon. Roedd y dulliau a ddefnyddiwyd i gasglu’r cofnodion o rywogaethau estron morol yn amrywio ac yn cynnwys rhywogaethau estron o arolygon penodol i gofnodion ad-hoc.
Defnyddiwyd rhestr o rywogaethau estron y cytunwyd arnynt fel sail ar gyfer dethol cofnodion rhywogaethau. Defnyddiwyd gwahanol ddulliau i dynnu cofnodion o'r gwahanol ffynonellau ond cafodd rhestr o rywogaethau ei llunio yn Excel a'i mewnforio i ArcGIS i'w hadolygu. Ychwanegwyd meysydd ychwanegol, gan gynnwys un ar gyfer statws y rhywogaethau ar Restr Cymru o Rywogaethau Estron Goresgynnol y Môr y dylid rhoi blaenoriaeth i’w monitro a chadw golwg arnynt.
Ymgymerwyd â phroses i ddileu unrhyw gofnodion dyblyg a nodwyd. Cafodd unrhyw gofnodion yr oedd yn ymddangos eu bod yn fewndirol eu dileu.

Various datasets containing marine non-native species were interregated to build this GIS layer. These included internal NRW datasets including Marine Recorder, KiECO and ad-hoc records of non-natives NRW hold. External datasets used were from the NBN Atlas. No new surveys were carried out for inclusion in this dataset. The methods used to collect the marine non-native species records varied and contained non-natives from specific surveys to ad-hoc records.
A list of agreed non-native species was used as a basis on which to extract species records. Different methods were used to extract records from the different sources but a list of species was captured in Excel and imported into ArcGIS for review. Additional fields were added, including one for the species status on the Wales marine INNS Marine Invasive Non-native Species Priority Monitoring and Surveillance List for Wales
A process was undertaken to remove any duplicate records which were noted. Any records which appeared to be inland were removed.
