2025 NRW Skomer MCZ Nudibranch Bioblitz survey
Volunteer divers took part in a nudibranch Bioblitz survey at Martins Haven, Skomer MCZ over a weekend in July 2025.
Nudibranchs are a feature of the Skomer Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) for which species diversity and the presence of rare or scarce species are attributes used to assess conservation status.

A series of dives were carried out and records were made of all nudibranch species seen. Additionally, notable nudibranch species observed by divers at Martins Haven throughout the year have also been included in this dataset.
On each dive, divers search for nudibranchs and record and photograph the animals. In total 44 different nudibranch species were recorded over the bioblitz weekend and on other dives at Martins Haven during 2025.
